The two-piece THR / SMD M12 connector comprises a plastic contact carrier and a screw connection. The contact carrier is available with various codings, such as A-, D-, X-, L-, and S-coding. The gasket and shield spring are mounted to provide IP68 protection and excellent EMC performance. As for the screw connection, the contact carrier can be used with the threaded fastening contour or integrated into the equipment in which the thread is formed directly. Regarding the soldering process, the contact carriers have THR and SMD versions. Both versions can benefit from the pick-and-place assembly to reduce the working time. In addition to M12 THR / SMD connectors, there are also M8 versions.
