KINSUN Develops M12 Push-Pull IDC On-site Cable Assembly Connector, Scheduled for Launch in Q1 2027

To meet the growing demand for fast installation and reliable connectivity in industrial automation equipment, KINSUN is developing a new M12 Push-Pull IDC On-site Cable Assembly Connector, scheduled for release in Q1 2027. Compliant with the IEC 61076-2-010 Push-Pull interface standard, the connector combines a Push-Pull quick-locking mechanism with IDC (Insulation Displacement Contact) technology, enabling fast field assembly without screws or soldering and significantly reducing wiring time. Initial offerings will include M12 D-coded, X-coded, and A-coded versions to meet various industrial communication and equipment connectivity requirements.

Compared with conventional threaded locking systems, the Push-Pull design enables secure mating with a simple push and quick release by pressing the unlocking mechanism. This feature is especially beneficial in applications with limited installation space or high-density cabling. In addition, the IDC termination technology reduces installation complexity and minimizes assembly errors in the field, improving both wiring efficiency and consistency. The connector is ideal for applications such as industrial Ethernet, factory automation, sensors, and control equipment.
