Kinsun Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Facility, Marking a New Milestone in Smart Manufacturing and Sustainable Development
Kinsun held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new facility on May 6, 2026. Numerous business partners, suppliers, and distinguished guests from Taiwan and overseas attended the event to witness this important milestone in the company’s next stage of development. Combining the existing and newly acquired land, the total site area is more than 35,000 square meters, while the new building will provide more than 12,000 square meters of floor space. The facility is scheduled to begin operations by the end of 2027.
The new building will feature a hybrid reinforced concrete and steel structure and is planned in accordance with green building standards. Solar panels will also be installed on the rooftop to support energy saving and sustainability initiatives. The facility will include an R&D center, mold processing center, cleanroom production lines for high-end medical products, SMT production lines, multiple automated assembly lines, as well as administrative offices and intelligent warehousing, significantly enhancing manufacturing capacity and operational efficiency.
During the ceremony, Kinsun Chairman Bright Kan stated that the company has always upheld a spirit of continuous improvement. As global industries continue to evolve rapidly and market demand keeps growing, the company’s existing production capacity has gradually become insufficient. Therefore, planning for the new facility began several years ago. The new plant not only represents an expansion of manufacturing capacity, but also symbolizes Kinsun’s commitment to smart manufacturing, digital transformation, and high-end production capabilities.
Moving forward, Kinsun will continue introducing advanced automation equipment and strengthening its R&D capabilities to further improve product quality and global competitiveness. The company also aims to create more job opportunities while steadily advancing toward sustainable operation and innovative customer service.
