Kinsun commits to Net Zero Emissions by 2050
On 23rd March 2022, about a hundred ICT companies gathered around at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center to set a goal to reduce carbon emissions effectively. The ICT industry is one of the leading forces in Taiwan's economy; hopefully, this action can be an active appeal to protect the environment.
As an essential role in the ICT industry and society, Kinsun paid attention to the environment earlier. Today, around a thousand trees are planted inside the premises. Besides, since 2015, Kinsun has introduced solar panels as renewable energy to provide the non-production electricity consumption. The goal for Kinsun is to achieve 100% green energy for non-production by 2035 and the Net Zero emissions target by 2050.
